Thanks for viewing our website. Academique is a unique college in many ways. First, we are committed to QUALITY EDUCATION. We closely follow the industry-developed training packages and only hire teachers who have studied and worked in the areas they teach. We also get independent experts in to check we are providing quality training. When you complete your course, you will be able to use the skills and knowledge in real workplaces.
Secondly, we want you to have a GREAT JOURNEY. We only work with reliable education agents. We don’t have any of the fees that some other colleges hide in the fine print: no application, enrolment, admin, materials, late, change or cancelation fees. We never take any fees direct from your credit card. We’re flexible about Initial Payments. The cost of your total program is spread out across as many months as possible to make the monthly payment as low as possible. Every faculty has a great coordinator dedicated to helping you. Classes, lectures and assessment sessions are repeated, so the study system is as flexible as possible. We focus on helping you to demonstrate your competence. We’ll also help you protect your visa status: If we think you are accidentally doing something wrong we’ll give you advice about it.

Thanks for the opportunity to help with your big ADVENTURE!
I was working in a sales job when I saw the film ‘Dead Poets’ Society’, with Robin Williams. It really brought home how you can change your life through study. I was inspired. Between the directors, we’ve studied, worked and taught in international education for over 70 years.
We decided to start a college that isn’t like any other college.
I came to Australia on a Working Holiday visa back in the ‘80s. I enjoyed the experience ‘Down Under’ and when I got back home I got a great job in an Australian bank. After several years I decided to give my career a boost, and I knew Australia has a great environment for study, so I decided to come back! I was an international student so I know how our students feel, and what international students need.
That’s why we say, “Your Success is Our Success!”
I have worked in International Education for over 35 years, and I am passionate about ensuring that students enjoy their study and find their courses worthwhile and helpful.
I was the Executive Officer of Study Gold Coast for 10 years, and my role was to promote the Gold Coast as an excellent study destination and help students and colleges to work together. My other business, Study Match is one of the largest Study Tour and Homestay operations in Queensland. I have a Bachelor of Business and Diploma of VET so I can help our students.
Academique is a unique college for international students on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane. Come and talk to us about how we can help you gain the most from your study in Queensland.
We’re very careful with our teachers, because we know great teachers are quite rare, and they make a big difference. We not only ensure all teachers are qualified and vocationally competent, but they also become a part of our family.
Our trainers are well qualified, passionate, hardworking, and committed to ensuring that all learning styles are catered for and all students learn. They all have recent industry experience.
If you’re having difficulties understanding a certain theory, don’t be afraid to ask your teacher and they will help you as best as they can. The Academique Faculty can provide information about Australia Student Visa compliance and Study and Work in Australia information based on your course selection.
I’ve owned my own massage business for over 20 years. I’m one of the massage therapists for the Olympic swimming team, so I have to be highly focused on improving performance, helping with injuries and building strength. I have been teaching massage at Academique for 3 years now. The reason that I am teaching is so that I can pass on information and train some great massage therapists. I want to make sure that when I decide to retire in the future there are some great therapists out there who can look after me. But seriously, it’s very rewarding when our clients thank our senior students for the great massage they just received. And the wall in the student lunchroom has ads from about 20 different clinics trying to recruit our students…..
Student Comment: “Wow: Nicky really knows what she’s talking about! She’s a great teacher!”
I started working as a chef because I love cooking, but I enjoy social interaction with people more and I also love travelling. So I decided to start teaching, and in 2001 I began my teaching career: I worked in Korea for 5 years. When I came back I continued teaching in Australia. I worked at several different schools and moved into the management positions, but teaching is my passion, so I’m very happy at Academique, because I can teach and manage thanks to the flexible system here. I have a Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics with a major in Language Testing and Program Evaluation. I also train people who want to become teachers, which I find very rewarding.
Student Comment: “Craig is the funniest English teacher I ever met: He makes his classes very enjoyable, and we are never bored.”
Tony has been a member of the Academique team since 2015 and is the Operations Manager and Head of Enterprise. He relishes the opportunity to wear several hats, managing the day to day operations whilst delivering management, hospitality and businesses classes whenever he gets a chance…he often says that he has the best of both worlds. His work experience is extensive, having held positions on Boards, owned his own business and worked in international hotels for twenty years. He earned his Master’s Degree in 2004 and then spent ten years in Higher Education, teaching domestic and international students at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level. More recently he has developed his training skills in the vocational education sector, turning much of his attention to compliance and RTO management. Tony is an enthusiastic facilitator and uses his thirty years work and teaching experience within the services industry to deliver excellent learning programs. He is both engaging and inspiring and his ability to apply real world experience is greatly welcomed by all his students.
